At present the major TV networks have not released any new TV series that can be described as along the veins of what Lost presented. JJ Abrams, the creator of Lost, made a new series but it was an espionage series. The closest series that can have the possibility of replacing Lost is The Event, but unfortunately, it’s not attracting a lot of viewers.

The 20th Episode of the first season is called “Do Not Harm”. Boone reveals to Jack that he and Locke have discovered the hatch, and Locke has told him not to tell anybody else. Despite Jack’s extensive attempts to save him, Boone dies. Claire goes into labor and gives birth to a boy. Flashbacks show Jack’s wedding to Sarah, a former patient whom he had “fixed; after she was injured in a car accident. The episode was directed by Stephen Williams and written by Janet Tamaro. It first aired on April 6, 2005 on ABC.

The 19th episode of the first season is called “Deus Ex Machina”.Locke discovers that he is losing sensation in his legs. Locke and Boone find a Beechcraft 18 teetering on the edge of a cliff. Boone climbs up and, using the radio, sends out a distress call, “We are the survivors of Oceanic Flight 815,” to which a man responds “We’re the survivors of Oceanic Flight 815.” The plane falls and Locke carries a critically injured Boone back to the camp. Locke arrives at the caves with Boone and lies about how Boone got hurt. Locke disappears into the jungle. Pounding on the hatch and screaming in anguish, the inside of the hatch suddenly becomes illuminated. In flashbacks, Locke meets his parents and his father cons him out of a kidney.

The 15th Episode of Season One is entitled “Homecoming”. In this episode, Claire is back among the survivors, but the last thing she remembers is the flight. Ethan confronts Charlie, threatening to kill the other castaways one by one until he gets Claire back. Despite security measures, Scott is murdered. With the guns from the briefcase and Claire as bait, Jack, Kate, Locke, Sayid and Sawyer set a trap. The trap works, and Ethan is captured. Although the plan is to keep Ethan alive, a vengeful Charlie kills him. The flashback features Charlie where he tries to get drug money by stealing from a rich girl.

In episode 10, Sayid was badly wounded when he found his way to the camp. He immediately narrated to his co-survivors about the lady she saw and that there are other people residing in the island. Claire, for two consecutive nights, wakes up screaming and insists that someone held and stabbed her in her stomach. Because of this attack, Hurley was persuaded to take census of the survivors with the use of the flight manifest. She later found out that Ethan was not on the plane. In the flashback, Claire found out that she was pregnant then her boyfriend left her alone. She went to a psychic and predicted that something bad surrounds her baby.

The 14th episode of Lost Season 1 is simply called “Special”. In this episode, Michael confronts Walt, who was currently having knife sessions under Locke. He asked him to help in scavenging parts from the wreck to build a raft, but Walt declined to do so. Micheal and Locke secretly followed Walt into the jungle and later on found out that he was being trapped by a polar bear. Micheal then risked his life just to save Walt. They reconciled later on. Locke and Boone found Claire stumbling out of the jungle. The flashback shows Walt. When he was younger, her mom married a co-worker. Micheal was not allowed to talk to him. Walt’s mom Susan died years later. His stepdad didn’t want custody of him because he is not his true son.

The 13th episode of Lost Season 1 is called “Hearts and Minds”. In this episode, Love is in the air. Sayid’s relationship with Shannon gets more personal and intimate. On the other hand, Locke and Boone tried to get into the hatch that they found. Boone really wants to reveal to Shannon about the hatch and Locke gave Boone a drug that caused him to hallucinate and let go of Shannon. The flashback features Boone as he tries to avoid of Shannon’s rude boyfriend by giving him some money, but the he later on discovered that it was all a scam that Shannon planned. She later on slept with Boone.

Episode 8 is entitled Confidence Man. The survivors suspected that Sawyer hoarded asthma inhalers from the wreck. Sayid then tortures Sawyer, who revealed to Kate that he doesn�t have them. Sayid later on went to the shore by himself asking himself why he did such thing to Sawyer. Kate later on reads a letter that Sawyer always carries around. It was revealed in the letter that Sawyer is just an alias. When Sawyer was a child, a man known as Sawyer slept with his mother and was killed by his biological father in a murder-suicide. As a young kid, he vowed to hand the letter to the original Sawyer. When he grew up, Sawyer became a con-man and adopted the name Sawyer. In the flashback, he tried to con a husband and wife,but gave up when he found out that they have a son.

The fifth episode is entitled White Rabbit. Boone steals the water supply with the intention of helping everyone, but the survivors misunderstood him. Jack, who is sleep-deprived, chases a shadow which appears to look like his dead father in the forest. He kept on running and he was surprised to discover caves with fresh water. Jack informed the rest of the survivors and stood out as the leader of the group. Jack was featured in the flashbacks of the episode. It was revealed that Jack went to Australia to retrieve his deceased father. It was an emotional moment for the leader of the survivors.

The third episode is entitled Tabula Rasa. In this episode, Jack finds Kate�s past as a fugitive. The signal party returns, but decides not to tell the others about the transmission. Sawyer shoots the marshal. He feels that killing him will save him from misery. This only punctures his lung. Jack euthanizes him. A flashback was shown about Kate�s life on an Australian Farm, where she was captured by the marshal. In the fourth episode entitled �Walkabout�, the fuselage was burned after it is raided by boars. Locke hunted for boars successfully. Little did the other survivors know that he had an encounter with the monster. The flashbacks revealed that Locke was in a wheelchair before the plane crashed and he was healed right after the crash.
