Replacements for Lost?

With Lost finally finished with its amazing, but head scratching, run on television, speculations are rife on which series can have the same qualities that can replace Lost as one of the most popular, and thought provoking series in recent memory.
At present the major TV networks have not released any new TV series that can be described as along the veins of what Lost presented. JJ Abrams, the creator of Lost, made a new series but it was an espionage series. The closest series that can have the possibility of replacing Lost is The Event, but unfortunately, it’s not attracting a lot of viewers.
