Season 2 Episode 9: What Kate Did

The ninth episode of the sophomore run of Lost TV series is simply called “What Kate Did”. Paul Edwards directed the said episode and was written by Craig Wright and Steven Maeda. The episode premiered last November 30, 2005 on ABC. Obviously, this heart-warming episode focuses on the past of Kate Austen’s past.

Some of the guest stars of this episode include L. Scott Caldwell, Sam Anderson, Fredric Lane, Beth Broderick, Lindsey Ginter, James Horan and J. Edward Sclafani.

According to Lost Tv Series fansites, this episode is one of the episodes that garnered very high ratings on its premiere at ABC beating other tv shows shown that day.

Season 2 Episode 8: Collision

The Eight episode of the second season of Lost TV series is called “Collision”. The episode focuses on the life of Ana Lucia Cortez. The script was written by Leonard Dick and Javier Grillo-Marxuach and was directed by Stephen Williams.

The flashback shows Ana Lucia in the Los Angeles Police Department as a police officer. A burglary suspect shot her. She had a little trouble after the recovery as she is having a hard time dealing with the stress in her job. Later on, she found out that a certain Jason McCormick is the suspect and he was caught and all she needed to do was to confirm that it was him. She later said that he’s not the suspect but something explosive happened after.

Season 2 Episode 7: The Other 48 Days

The 31st episode of the Lost Series and the lucky seventh episode of this season is called “The Other 48 Days”. The episode first premiered on November 16, 2005 on ABC. The episode was written by the wonderful tandem of Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof and was directed by Eric Laneuville.

In the first episodes, we normally see flashback scenes that are concentrating on the events that happened before the crash. The Other 48 Days is somewhat different. It gives emphasis on the backstory of the characters that eventually leads them to the “Abandoned” episode. It is one of the episodes of the second season that is well-loved by the fans.

SEASON 2 Episode 6: Abandoned

The 30th episode of Lost TV series and sixth of the sophomore season is simply titled “Abandoned”. The episode was done under the direction of Adam Davidson and script written by Elizabeth Sarnoff. The episode was first aired on November 9, 2005 on ABC. In this episode, the focus is on Shannon Rutherford.

In the flashback, it was revealed that Shannon was a former ballet. One day, she received an important phone call. The caller informed her that her beloved dad met an accident and is in the hospital. When she arrived, she found her father’s body lifeless. She loss her self-confidence since that day.

SEASON 2 Episode 5: … And Found

The Title of the 5th episode of the second season of Lost TV Series has a little drama effect. It is called “…And found”. The said episode was first aired on October 19, 2005 on ABC. In this episode directed by Stephen Williams and written by Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof, The characters of Jin-Soo Kwon and Sun are being featured in the usual flashbacks.

In the flashback, Sun, a native from South Korea, asked for help from a matchmaker to get Jae Lee as a suitor. In the other scene, Jin is preparing for a nerve-wracking interview for a hotel. Never did they imagine that they will be each other’s future lovies.

SEASON 2 Episode 2: Adrift

The 26th episode of Lost is called “Adrift”. It is basically the sophomore episode of the show’s second season. The episode was first aired last September 28, 2005 on ABC. The said episode was written by the duo of Leonard Dick and Steven Maeda under the direction of Stephen Williams. The episode flashback focuses on Micheal Dawson.

In the flashback, it features Micheal’s early problems with Susan, who asked him to sign away his rights as a father to wait. Though Micheal originally wanted to reject her, he later on obliged to Susan’s demands. The most memorable scene is the parting scene of Micheal and Walt, where he handed the little boy a polar bear.
